May not be May, but…

It may not be end of May ‘08 for launching this new web product - as planned a month ago -, but I am approaching a milestone from where its development will start running in a straight line.
To dos:

contact a few potential customers and ask for help in defining functionalities while returning advertising offers
contact legal [...]

Found a good template

Actually it was not “found” but created. It is a bit simple and sort of dark (side background only), but the information that a user really needs to see can be found very easy.
Now I need to focus more on the process of sending alerts and notifications for different important actions on the website, then [...]

Resumed Jooveler development

Since a few weeks ago I have resumed working on Jooveler structure, look and feel. After tweaking some actions within the system, I’ve started looking closely on providing a good look for the website.
I am still a fan of “simple looks good“, so I will go with a basic color scheme and the classic column [...]

Second major testing session to adjust website behaviour

Now is the time when I removed all the information entered in website’s database during its first stage of development, and made space for the second set on testing data, entered from scratch. I’ve changed a bit of how things works for user management and I also still need to tweak some functionalities for the [...]

Business socializer

Did I mention yesterday that I’m currently working on two main modules? Well, it looks like there will also be implemented more comprehensive relationships between Jooveler users, before actually launching the website. I initially planned this for Tier 2, but it seems more natural and simpler to build this web tool in this fashion, so [...]

First module almost done

And the most important one. I’m actually working on two modules in parallel, both being linked together and working towards users needs. Speaking of users, Jooveler has three main categories of users and visitors, based on their business and interests. Like for my previously developed web project currently running in Romania, I need to take [...]

Google meets Jooveler

Google found Jooveler.com for the first time on November 9th, 2007. I assume it was this blog, currently opened to public and Technorati, that made this happen. Jooveler was/is still under heavy development, almost nothing showed up to the crawler. Yahoo!, MSN, Lycos and all other search engines did not meet Jooveler at the moment.
I’m [...]

Valuable user input

What is more valuable than user’s feedback and suggestions? Nothing.
Jooveler works a lot with forms that collects user’s choices for services we and our partners offer, so I thought it might be a good idea to let users help us improve our way of doing things online. Therefore, I’ve added a suggestion box right above [...]

What do you need, my friend?

I’ve started a poll on my current website (version 1.0 of Jooveler) to collect what you, my dear user, really want in regards of online services I could offer to you. There is actually a true contest going on there right now, because any user that responds the survey will become a participant for online [...]

Building brands is not that easy

Few days ago while I was digging for a proper name for this web project, search engines did not return any results for “Jooveler”. Today Google revealed to me 1 item, as being a YouTube user named the same way, which joined video website back in June of ‘07 (Yahoo still did not find anything [...]
